Pride of Lynn is a non-profit cemetery on the North Shore of Massachusetts. Our mission is to care for, maintain and preserve the burial lots and cemetery grounds. Pride of Lynn offers lots for sale and insures proper preparation and special care of the gravesites. Pride of Lynn is committed to coordinating services with funeral homes, families and lot owners.
Pride of Lynn was established in June 1920 to benevolently serve the Jewish communities of the North Shore.
In 1948 Pride of Lynn Cemetery erected and dedicated a Holocaust memorial to provide persons of all faiths with a place to remember and honor those lost and to reflect upon this tragic event.
On November 24, 1980, the neighboring Chevra Mishna Cemetery was incorporated into Pride of Lynn. Persons interred in Chevra Mishna are included in our Find a Loved One database.
Today, Pride of Lynn continues as an independent cemetery without synagogue or temple affiliation. The Pride of Lynn Cemetery is pleased to welcome and serve greater Boston’s Jewish and interfaith families with respect, compassion and care. Individual and family lots are available in our orthodox, traditional and interfaith sections. Our pricing is affordable and competitive.
Pride of Lynn invites friends and families to visit the cemetery prior to the High Holidays. Readers are available on specific Sundays. Please check the cemetery’s website for specific dates during the month of Elul (the weeks prior to Rosh Hashanah).
